These terms are provided in good faith and in plain language. They are not legal advice; the operator should have them reviewed by a qualified attorney before relying on them for compliance.
What you're buying
The Band Camp Survival Kit is a set of digital PDF guides — seven volumes — delivered electronically after purchase. It's practical guidance written by veteran band parents to help you prepare for your kid's band camp season.
Personal use license
When you buy the kit, you get a personal, non-commercial license to use it. In plain terms: read it, share the advice, refer back to it every summer — that's exactly what it's for. What we ask you not to do is redistribute or resell the PDF files themselves. The information is yours; the documents are ours. We think that's fair.
Payment
The kit is a one-time purchase of $9.00 USD, processed securely by Stripe. We don't store your card information — Stripe handles that entirely.
Our refund policy
If you're not happy with the kit for any reason, reply to your delivery email within 30 days and we'll refund you in full, no questions asked.
We mean that. We'd rather you feel good about this than keep your $9. If it wasn't useful, we want to know — and we want you to feel right about the transaction either way.

The Band Camp Survival Kit is informational guidance written by experienced band parents. It is not medical, legal, or professional advice.
The heat-safety and health-related content in the kit references publicly available medical sources (NATA, the Korey Stringer Institute, the CDC, the AAP) and is written to help you understand those standards — but it is not a substitute for professional medical judgment, your program's specific protocols, or emergency services. In a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number immediately.
We've been careful with the sourcing and we stand behind the guidance. But we're band parents, not doctors, and we want you to use the kit alongside — not instead of — the professionals responsible for your kid's safety.
Limitation of liability
The kit is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Band Parent Manual and its authors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this product. Our total liability is limited to the purchase price you paid ($9.00). This is a $9 information product made in good faith; we stand behind it, and the refund policy above is how we make it right if it doesn't work for you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we do, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the site or product after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malta.
